Kate Besch is an experienced civil litigator. Her practice focuses on business litigation and defense of premises, product, and general liability claims as well as professional liability claims. She has represented health care providers, manufacturers, financial institutions, attorneys, and numerous individuals and businesses.

Ms. Besch has extensive experience managing cases, including development of litigation strategy as well as handling pleadings, discovery, expert witness depositions, trial preparation and trial. She has obtained numerous dismissals for her clients through successful demurrers, motions for summary judgment and anti-SLAPP motions. Ms. Besch has experience in arbitrations and trials and has negotiated multiple settlements.

Throughout her practice, Ms. Besch has defended wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury claims, including alleged Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, orthopedic and traumatic brain injuries. She has also defended attorneys in malpractice actions and State Bar complaints, as well as handled a variety of business disputes.
